Nathalie already had extensive experience in logistics, quality, and customer service when she joined Euroports. She makes sure our food terminal meets very strict requirements.

 

“Working with food means we must meet the highest hygienic standards. All goods and operations must be safe and clean, from the moment they arrive on our terminal to the moment they are shipped elsewhere. Currently, the most important commodity is sugar. We store it in gigantic warehouses and one large round silo, known as the sugar jar of Antwerp. At every location, quality control is critical. Because there are many requirements and many new developments, the work is never the same.”

“Euroports is very big. We are everywhere, we do everything and everything is possible. Because our work can change quickly, it’s important to be flexible. I think that’s good to know for people who would like to join us. If the business changes tomorrow, we will all adapt to it. I like that. I think if I had to do the same every day, I wouldn’t like to get out of bed. We’re always doing something new. I don’t think you need a lot of prior knowledge when you come work at our terminal, because you can learn everything in practice here.”
