Taking Action on Earth Day

To commemorate Earth Day, we’re proud to shine a light on the dedicated individuals driving sustainability at our Terminals — our very own Sustainability Warriors.

These passionate team members from across our locations have been essential in keeping us informed, inspiring action, and helping to root sustainability into their locations.

Their efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to building a greener future.

🔹Belgium continued their World Cleanup Day tradition at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges and they elevated our values by actively involving stevedoring companies!

🔹Finland is boosting team well-being with new pull-up bars (challenge anyone?), lightweight training for foremen and dockers, and ergonomic workstation adjustments guided by a physiotherapist.

🔹With hands-on effort, France is advancing sustainability through improved waste management (office sorting, beach cleanups) and by implementing EV infrastructure and an electric fleet.

🔹In Italy they’ve been learning how breathing techniques can help with burnout, the mood and help you relax

🔹Our German team made a significant impact by planting trees, cleaning the ocean, and empowering young people with environmental awareness and career skills, contributing to both their well-being and the planet!

🔹Spain‘s discussion centred on fostering diversity & inclusion, promoting work-life balance, and ensuring healthcare access for every worker.

🔹In China, sustainability efforts include close customer collaboration, youth development via lectures and internships, and recognizing ESG champions through the “Sustainability Star” initiative.
